So, not every Sphynx is a water-loving showoff splashing around in the tub like they’re starring in a cat spa commercial.
Some of our sweet, stubborn, wrinkly babies HATE water with a fiery passion. I’m talking claws out, full-body protest, escape-artist level tantrums anytime you even whisper the word “bath”.
That’s why I created the ReNewedPet® Waterless Shampoo line for hairless pets. It’s specifically for what I like to call “bath-intolerant” kitties who need to stay clean without the stress of a full soak.
Why Waterless Shampoo?
When I first launched ReNewedPet, I knew I had to come up with something different. Hairless pets have unique skin care needs and traditional soaps can actually make things worse with rebound oil production. That’s why our waterless shampoo is:
Oil-based (not soap-based!)
Leave-on and no rinse required
Perfect for sensitive skin
Infused with 100% natural, organic ingredients
Quick, easy, mess-free
Plus, it comes in 3 different formulations (regular, sensitive and restorative) so you can choose the exact match for your cat’s skin type.
How It Works:
Lay a towel on a flat surface and place your pet on top.
Wearing our free exfoliating bath gloves (included with every order), apply about a quarter-sized amount of shampoo to your palm.
Gently massage it into your pet’s skin, starting from the head and working down to the tail and feet. This helps lift dirt, dead skin, and excess oils.
After about 1–2 minutes of rubbing, grab a clean, dry towel and firmly wipe your pet down to remove any residue and debris.
That’s it! No water. No drama. No suds flying across the bathroom walls.
Plus, because the shampoo is oil-based, most of the product will absorb into your pet’s skin, replenishing moisture and preventing rebound oil production (you know, when your cat gets greasier after the bath? Not with this product.)
Perfect for In-Between Baths
Even if your Sphynx tolerates traditional baths, this waterless shampoo is a total game-changer for midweek clean-ups especially for oily spots like paws, necks, and rears.
Give it a try and see the difference for yourself. Your pet will be cleaner, their skin will be more balanced and you’ll avoid the bath-time struggle altogether.
