If you’re a pet parent and you have a salt lamp, you need to know this!

Salt lamps can actually be very dangerous for your pet’s health.

Every year pets end up dying from salt lamps or becoming extremely ill.

The problem is that salt can be a very alluring taste to our pets and dogs and cats often discover that they can lick the salt lamp and ingest the salt - and they like it!

However, for dogs, cats and even humans, if we take too much salt into the body it can create a crisis situation causing a cascade of symptoms which can lead to serious illness, and yes, even death.

So, if you love salt lamps that’s great, but make sure they’re in a room that your pets never get into or an area that your pets absolutely cannot access, so that you don’t risk your pet’s health.
