WHY YOU SHOULD AVOID CARRAGEENAN IN YOUR PET'S FOOD!

We are now in week 7 of this series, "All About Canned Cat Food," and we have 5 additional weeks remaining, so be sure to keep watching your inbox! (all weekly pet-tips can be found on my youtube channel) Last week, I wrote about What Are Meat By-Products in Pet Food, now let's take a closer look at something else we want to avoid in our pet's food: ❌❌❌CARRAGEENAN❌❌❌

CARRAGEENAN IN PET FOOD

Go check your pet’s canned food right now and be sure you do not see the word “carrageenan” listed as an ingredient!  Carrageenan is used in many pet food formulas as a thickening agent and it is notoriously known to cause many health ailments in pets and people alike!

Symptoms such as:

• Generalized Inflammation ❌
• Ulcerative Colitis ❌
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) ❌
• Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) ❌
• GI Tracy Cancer ❌
• Glucose Intolerance (Diabetes) ❌
• Immune System Suppression ❌

Dr. Tobacman, has been publishing research on the health effects of carrageenan for more than a decade. She has even petitioned the FDA to prohibit its use in food based on decades of publicly funded, peer-reviewed science on carrageenan-induced inflammation in animals and cells. The FDA responded with a letter of denial.
