How To Feed Your Cat Fresh Food If You Work Long Hours!

If you’ve been wanting to switch your cat to a fresh food diet, but have been put off by the fact that you work long hours outside of the home, then today’s video is one you’re not going to want to miss.

Switching to a fresh, gently cooked or a fresh raw diet is the best thing you can do for your cat. However it can be a daunting task to undertake, especially if you’re gone from the home for 10 to 12 hours per day at work. Let me make it easy for you.

The main thing to remember is that adult cats - that is cats over a year old - can really get through the day with 2 to 3 meals.

What I would recommend is that you feed them a large meal right before you leave the house - they only need 5 to 10 minutes to eat. Then as you’re going out the door you can leave out another portion of some freeze dried or air dried food that they can snack on throughout the day while you’re gone.

They will be OK with those 2 meals from the time you leave in the morning until you get back, even if you’re away working 10 to 12 hour shifts. Then when you get home from work you feed them another large meal of the fresh cooked or fresh frozen raw food.

So today’s cat tip is please don’t let the fact that you work long hours deter you from switching your cat to a species appropriate diet that they should be eating. You can find some creative and easy ways to navigate around ensuring that your kitty is well-fed and satisfied. Fresh is best - always!

If you want to take it one step further and make your kitty their food yourself from scratch so you know exactly what they are eating, I can show you how to make homemade, healthy pet food in minutes - just click HERE.
