How To Make Catnip Tea For Your Kitties!

Welcome to the Mad Hatters Tea Party!

The stars of the show don't wear top hats but certainly know how to tip over a teacup or two! If you've ever wondered what would happen if your feline friend decided to host their own tea soirée, complete with whimsical antics and enough playfulness to make Wonderland itself blush, you're in for a treat.

But hold the Earl Grey and leave the crumpets behind because today, we're delving into the magical world of catnip tea! It's the only tea party where the "purr-fect" guest list includes Cheshire smiles, Mad Hatter madness, and a rather curious fascination with flying saucers.

In this blog, we'll spill the beans (or should we say, catnip leaves) on the secret potion that turns your sophisticated feline into a frolicking furball, gleefully chasing invisible mice and indulging in the kind of acrobatics that would leave Cirque du Soleil in awe.

Let's brew up some mischief together, shall we?

So dried catnip is like any other herb and you can make it into a tea with just some hot water. Here’s your step-by-step guide to get the party started.

Step 1

Make sure you’re choosing a catnip that’s organic. We don’t want to be giving our kitties anything that has been sprayed with pesticides as that is going to harm their health in the long run.

Step 2

Take a teaspoon of the dried catnip and put it into a tea diffuser.

Step 3

Place the diffuser into a small glass bowl or a coffee/teacup and pour about 6 ounces of boiling water into the diffuser.

Step 4

Let the tea cool - it should take about 10 to 15 minutes for it to be cool enough to give to your kitties.

VOILA! Now you’ve made catnip tea for your kitties!

Just put the bowl or cup down on the floor for them to investigate. I recommend putting it on a towel as it might get messy. Some cats like to stick their face in the tea or paw at the bowl - they often spill it over. Just let them have a good time and enjoy their catnip-infused tea.

This catnip tea is safe for kitties of all ages, but typically cats don’t respond to it until they’re around 6 months old. It’s safe to use every day and has many benefits so go have fun and make your kitties some awesome catnip tea.

Keep giving your pets the best of natural life!
