Are Your PLANTS Pet-Toxic?

If you're looking to grow fresh flowers that you can cut and bring into your home, you need to make sure they're safe for your pets. Cats and dogs have a tendency to get into the plants you bring into your home and you want to make sure they don't get sick.

Safe Flower Options

I've done some research on the topic and I came across a flower called zinnias. These flowers are safe for your pets, easy to grow, and come in a wide variety of colors so they're a good option for anyone! You can also have roses around your pets if you want some variety!

Steps to Take to Keep Your Pets Safe

I don't claim to be a plant expert, but I do want to make sure you all know to be certain that any plants you have are safe around your pets. If you're not sure, you can Google "ASPCA toxic plant list" and search for specific plants you're considering purchasing.

Don't make the mistake of thinking you can just keep your pets away from your toxic plants. Too often, pets find a way to get into your plants anyway and they'll end up very sick!

Taking care to make sure your pets care safe and healthy goes further than simply giving them a fresh food diet! Take the time to make sure you're bringing only safe plants around your pets!
