AVOID These Lickable Cat Treats...

Let’s talk about lickable cat treats today!

I’m sure if you have a cat you’ve already tried a lickable cat treat for them and most likely you’ve found out that cats love them and go crazy for them!

So several years ago, as these first came out and became more popular, almost every pet food company came out with their own version. Now the bad thing about that is that many of the lickable cat treats that are on the market today are filled with ingredients that are not healthy for your cat.

When we give our cats a treat it’s an expression of our love and we want them to enjoy it, but we also want to make sure we’re giving them things that are health promoting.

Some of the problematic ingredients that you want to watch out for are:

  • Sugar
  • Carrageenan (binder) - it’s very hard to digest and is a known carcinogen
  • Artificial Flavorings (or even natural flavorings) as that’s not a flavor from a real food, it’s a synthetic flavoring created in a lab.

You want to make sure the ingredients listed are only whole food sources.

Here are some of my top recommended lickable cat treats:

I hope this helps you to spoil your kitty with delicious and healthy treats from now on!

Keep giving your pets the best of natural life!
