If Your Cat Eats Something Bad - Give This!

As responsible pet parents, one of the key things you can do is to ensure you are prepared for every eventuality of trouble your kitty might get into - they do like to test out their 9 lives!

Keeping a well-stocked kitty first aid kit and knowing what to do in the event that something does happen will ensure that you remain calm in the emergency. With a clear head you are far more likely to do exactly what your kitty needs in the moment. Swift action can be the difference between health and very expensive vet bills.

This is one of my must-haves for all pet parents out there.

Activated coconut charcoal is something I always keep on hand for any time my pets are experiencing any kind of digestive upset

So what does this awesome supplement do?

It comes in capsule form and is easy to administer - simply open the capsule and pour the contents over your pets food. Alternatively, you can purchase it in powder form, which you then also sprinkle into their food. It then goes into your pet’s digestive system and it helps absorb all the toxins in their gut. So anytime your pet is experiencing an upset stomach, vomiting or diarrhea, or you know for sure that they have eaten something they shouldn’t have, you can administer some activated charcoal.

Now of course, I always advise to err on the side of caution and if you think your pet has eaten something really toxic or dangerous or they are displaying severe symptoms of sickness and lethargy, you should call your veterinarian as well as the animal poison control hotline.

This product is great for minor cases of GI upset, but should never replace the advice of a vet. If you are at all unsure, consult your vet first.

Keep giving your pets the best of natural life!
