Say Goodbye To Sphynx Cat Acne

Does your Sphynx cat struggle with acne? You’re not alone! This is a common problem amongst hairless cats, but there are ways you can combat stubborn acne. Below, we explore how. Let’s get started!

Why Do Sphynx Cats Get Acne?

Since Sphynx cats don't have fur, their skin is left vulnerable to dead skin, oil, and dirt clogging their pores. A few things that can make breakouts worse are stress, poor diet, poor hygiene, dirty food and water bowls, and more.

Recommended Products

  • 4-ALL PETS ACNE/BLACKHEAD REMEDY - This all-natural product is an excellent one to use when you want to gently but properly clean your cat's skin. It's simple to use and should clear up the blemish within about 3 days.

  • Homemade pet food and Fresh pet food recommendations - Good skin starts from within. If your cat's diet consists only of food that's full of artificial colors, preservatives, and artificial flavors, you’re not fueling your cat's body with the nutrients it needs. Your pet will thrive best on a raw and natural diet. This way, they're getting the vitamins and nutrients their body and skin need to flourish.

How Do You Clean Your Cat's Face?

Cleaning your cat's face has never been easier or more effective than when using 4-ALL PETS ACNE/BLACKHEAD REMEDY. Directions for using this product include:

  • Take a small amount of the product and apply it to the affected area on your cat's skin.

  • Carefully smooth the product on the affected area evenly and let it set for about 5 minutes.

  • Make sure your cat doesn't lick the product. You can put clothes on your Sphynx to block them from being able to wipe or lick it off.

  • Get the exfoliating pad wet by soaking it in warm water. Next, use the pad to gently remove the product by directing the exfoliating pad in small circles.

  • The area should now be clean and free of product.

  • Repeat this process every 1-2 days until your cat's blemishes are gone.

Final Thoughts

Even though acne is normal for Sphynx cats, there are a few ways you can prevent acne, such as with a healthy diet and a quality cleanser. By being proactive, your cat will have clear, healthy, and glowing skin!
