Your Cat is Eating Cat Litter!

If you're a pet parent like me, you know that your pets love to groom themselves all the time! Here's something you should consider: every time your cat uses the litter box, they come out of the box and immediately groom themselves. This means they're licking their paws and ingesting everything their litter is made of.

Why It Matters

Take some time today and research the litter you are using. Most likely, if you're using a low-cost, clay litter, the odor control system it has is full of synthetic chemicals that your cat shouldn't be ingesting.

Plus, ingredients like sodium bentonite in clay litters can become dangerous to your cat when ingested because it can cause intestinal blockages.

How to Help Your Cat!

The best thing you can do for your cat is use an all-natural, organic litter. A couple of great options are Dr. Bales litter which is made from yucca plant, or World's Best litter made from wheat or walnut. Both are made of natural ingredients that are safe for your cat to ingest!

Taking the time to give your cat safe litter is just as important as other steps for their overall health, including their digestive health and other areas. Making these changes will help your pet be happy and healthy everyday!
