Do you know the BEST places to keep your Cat's Litter Boxes??

Hi to all my pet-lovers, I am praying and sending vibes of love and health to you ALL hoping you and your families are all healthy and safe today!  While we are all home-bound we might as well continue learning about how to best keep our pets healthy and happy and dedicate some extra time to our pets :)

best places for litter box

It is an unfortunate common reality that many litter box misuse behavior problems begin because a cat is not comfortable in the place that their owner has put their litter box (or hopefully litter BOXES - as you should have 1 box more than the number of cats you have)...

Take a minute to assess where you have YOUR cat’s litter boxes in your home... are they in a quiet, undisturbed area?... and Don’t make the mistake thinking “oh but my cat is FINE I have always kept their box by the washer/dryer” ...  I hear this EVERYDAY it only takes that one time your cat is sitting their going #2 and the washer decides to come off balance and starts jumping across the floor and BOOM you have a cat peeing on your bed because they got SCARED out of their mind!

This week’s pet-tip is continuing my “All About Litter Boxes” series... let’s look at the best and worst PLACES to keep your cat’s litter box!

BEST places to keep your litter box include:

  • Guest Bathroom
  • Guest Bedroom
  • Quiet Hallway between rooms
  • ANY area of your home which is quiet and off limits to dogs and young children.

WORST place to keep your litter box:
  • Garage if you open and close the garage door frequently.
  • Kitchen.
  • Next to household trash cans.
  • Near Washer & Dryer.
  • Anywhere that is busy household foot-traffic, loud, or where dogs or young children can access.

Stay tuned... for next week's Pet-Tip I show you the BEST litter box scoop I have ever used to make scooping super simple!
