The PERFECT Diet for your Cat!
Hope everyone is having a GREAT start to your weekends! I typically don't send out newsletters on a Saturday, because I am like you... putting life back together from the whirl-wind of the work week! However, I just posted this to our SM sites, and thought this is so cool I want all of our newsletter readers to see this too!
When I am working with a pet-parent to make a balanced home-made cat or dog food diet - this is what we are aiming to replicate... the pet’s natural wild diet... in the case of a cat, would mostly be mice!
This is a great info clip I found on another site which sells a Home-Made Pet Food Balancer like we have here at ReNewedPet, and I thought it would be interesting to share.
This is also a great perspective for those who argue against cats having ANY carbohydrates... this chart shows that even in the wild a cat’s prey is made of nearly 2% carbs, and then they get additional by foraging on grasses and plants as well which makes up that 3-5% carb intake I aim for in formulating the home-made cat diet.
